Where "it's O.K. to horse around"
Home of the Graz-A-Matic Automatic Horse Feeder.
"Horses developed as grazing animals, quite unlike the way we feed horses today. Their stomachs are fairly small and they constantly secrete stomach acids. This can lead to problems when they are fed only one or two large meals each day. Recent studies have shown that the incidence of gastrointestinal ulcers is very high in performance horses and extremely low in horses on permanent pasture. Much of the reason is due to the common feeding practices of stabled horsed. The incidence of colic and gastrointestinal ulcers would be much lower if horses could be fed smaller meals multiple times per day". Just like the Graz-A-Matic feeder.
