Why Pellets?
| Much higher nutritional value per pound compared to long hay. | |
| Animals tend to absorb a larger percentage of the nutrients compared to long hay. | |
| Much easier handling, scoops with a shovel or rake. | |
| Requires 1/4 as much space to store the same amount of hay. | |
| Cleaner than hay, the processing removes a high percentage of dust, dirt and contaminates. | |
| Lower cost per calorie than hay | |
| Works in RanchTek's Graze-A-Matic automatic feeders. |

| ALFALFA PELLETS | High in protein, alfalfa pellets are fed to the horse that is being "worked" hard as it gives them energy. Alfalfa pellets should be fed along with grain in the winter months, as it provides and maintains body heat against the cold weather. | Sun Cured Alfalfa Hay |

| ALFALFA / OAT PELLETS | The Alfalfa/Oat Pellet is an excellent pellet for the horse that is being "worked" on a lighter scale. With adding oat hay to the blend, it lowers the protein level while adding additional fiber to the horse's diet. |
